Rare Find! This exquisite King James Version Holy Bible is bound in a stunning mother-of-pearl inlay cover with intricate carved detailing. Printed and bound in Great Britain in January 1985 by William Collins Sons & Co., this edition was produced in a limited run of 30,000 copies and is a remarkable example of craftsmanship.

Inside, the presentation page bears a historic inscription:
“To The Honorable Jim Wright From NAAA-F October 10, 1986 Fort Worth, Texas”

Jim Wright (1922–2015) was a Texas congressman for over three decades, serving as Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives from 1987 to 1989. This Bible was gifted to him less than a year before he assumed the speakership, making it a unique piece of political and personal memorabilia.

• Condition: Well-preserved with clean pages and a secure binding; minimal wear for its age. (There is a small tear on spine, and a small hairline fracture on cover, and small stain on last page as noted in photos.)
• Approx. Dimensions: 6” L X 4” W X 1” H
• Provenance: From Hon. Jim Wright’s personal library.
